We congratulate our employee Thomas Eichinger on his two lectures at this year’s autumn seminar of the VH Berlin, Research Institute for Baker’s Yeast.

Due to the current situation, the four-day seminar “Modern Technology of Baker’s Yeast Production” was held as a live webinar. Besides an overview of industrial baker’s yeast production and the raw materials used, the webinar also covered the topics technical microbiology of baker’s yeast and microbiological tests for yeast contamination, fermentation planning, analyses of yeast and molasses qualities, and fermentation balancing.

In his function as a development chemist in our research and development department, Thomas Eichinger presented in his lectures not only the technical and chemical background but also the challenges and advantages of using defoamers and emulsifiers in the yeast industry.
