Sustainability<\/h1><\/div>

As a family-run company<\/strong> with a history stretching back over 90 years<\/strong>, corporate responsibility is part of Bussetti\u2019s<\/strong>Sustainability is a key consideration<\/strong> in every area of activity, from development to production. One example is Bussetti\u2019s own hydroelectric power plant<\/strong> in Marchtrenk. <\/strong>This is currently being supplemented with a 270 kilowatt photovoltaic system, allowing Bussetti to generate most of the energy required for production in-house, using renewables. This represents a reduction in CO2<\/sub> emissions of around 30 percent<\/strong>. Particulate pollution<\/strong> on the works premises is significantly reduced through the use of particle filters<\/strong> installed on the diesel-powered forklift trucks.<\/p>\n

Bussetti is constantly striving to innovate in the fields of environmentally-friendly production methods and products<\/strong>. For instance, the company offers a special range of defoamers for architectural paint and coatings<\/strong> made from sustainable raw materials. These are used by customers to produce organic paints and biobased renders.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Many of Bussetti\u2019s key products are made from<\/strong> natural fats and oils<\/strong>. The company avoids the use of petrochemicals as raw materials wherever possible. In total, 30 percent of the raw materials originate from renewable sources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In figures, this represents three million kilos in every ten million kilos of raw materials.<\/p>\n

Equally, every effort is made to ensure that once a product has finished its useful life, it is returned to the biological and technical cycle<\/strong> as a raw material.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Environmental indicators<\/strong>
Sustainability<\/strong> plays a major role in all areas, which is why we want to supply production as selfsufficiently<\/strong> as possible with renewable energy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A careful analysis of the current situation is the prerequisite for every successful optimization process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From this we derive measures to improve the environmental impact<\/strong> and thus also our environmental indicators.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Die Basis<\/strong> f\u00fcr viele Bussetti-Hauptprodukte wird aus nat\u00fcrlichen Fetten und \u00d6len gewonnen<\/strong>. Bussetti verzichtet so weit wie m\u00f6glich auf petrochemische Rohstoffe. Insgesamt stammen 30 Prozent der eingesetzten Rohstoffe aus nachwachsenden Quellen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In absoluten Zahlen sind das drei von zehn Millionen Kilogramm Rohstoffen.<\/p>\n

Gleicherma\u00dfen wird darauf geachtet, dass nach Ablauf ihres Lebenszyklus die Produkte als Werkstoffe wieder in den biologischen und technischen Kreislauf<\/strong> zur\u00fcckflie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<\/div>
